Biodiversity and Environmental Protection

Audubon Population and Habitat Program
No environmental victory is permanent so long as human population growth remains unchecked...many of the world's species will be pushed past the edge, and much of the pristine wilderness we enjoy today will be lost forever.

Center for Biological Diversity
We believe that the health and vigor of human societies and the integrity and wildness of the natural environment are closely linked.

Defenders of Wildlife
Dedicated to the protection of all native wild animals and plants in their natural communities. We focus our programs on what scientists consider two of the most serious environmental threats to the planet: the accelerating rate of extinction of species and the associated loss of biological diversity, and habitat alteration and destruction.

Forest Council
The mission of Native Forest Council is to fully protect and preserve every acre of publicly owned land in the United States.

National Forest Protection Alliance
The NFPA was launched in 1999 by grassroots activists from every region of the United States dedicated to ending commercial logging on National Forests and all federal public lands. We believe that public lands should be managed to provide clean air and clean water, wilderness and wildlife habitat, and compatible recreation for the American public.

National Wildlife Federation
The National Wildlife Federation is the nation's largest member-supported conservation group, uniting individuals, organizations, businesses and government to protect wildlife, wild places, and the environment.

Sustainable Obtainable Solutions
Sustainable Obtainable Solutions was created to increase the understanding of sustainability and the interrelationships of people and nature. And, like you, we want to ensure our current use of public lands does not deny future generations those same benefits.
